Herbal Health for the New Year

Interested in herbal remedies but don't know where to start? This introduction to herbal health will feature a handful of potent plants that you can find in your kitchen spice cabinet or outside in your backyard! We'll talk about the medicinal benefits of each, and how to prepare them simply to make effective remedies. Class will include a short plant walk outdoors to take a look at some plants we'll discuss, as well as sampling some herbal teas.
There is no need to register. This is a free class. Just come to the classroom at the Hermitage Branch.
Medicinal Plants of Spring

Join us for an exploration of the so-called weeds of early spring. You’ll be surprised by the medicinal benefits and edibility of these tiny plants that grow in gardens, yards, sidewalk crevices, and hidden in landscaping. Class includes a walk outside to identify the plants as well as tea sampling.
There is no need to register. This is a free class. Just come to the classroom at the Donelson Branch.
