Thursdays, 6:30pm Central Time
aThis is a 3 class series in which each class will be taught LIVE on Zoom as well as recorded. All registrants will receive the link to access the live classes as well as links for all class recordings.
We will focus on foundational yin sequences that can be done at home with or without specialized yoga props. I’ll show you how to use towels, blankets, pillows, and couch cushions if that’s what you have.
These classes are beginner friendly and also beneficial for the experienced yogi.
Yin Yoga is unique in that it targets the bones, joints, ligaments, and connective tissues of the body. Because we hold each pose for 3-5 minutes, and support our bodies with props, we are able to access deeper levels of restorative healing within the body tissues and energetic pathways. Yin is specifically beneficial to those need rest, recovery, restoration, or working with injuries, imbalances, or illnesses. It is a beautiful complement for those who engage regularly in more active forms of movement and exercise.
