Yin Yoga at Home

$50.00

Thursdays 6:30-7:30pm Central time

July 31, August 7, & August 14

This is a 3 class series in which each class will be taught LIVE on Zoom as well as recorded. All registrants will receive the link to access the live classes as well as links for all class recordings.

Yin Yoga is unique in that it targets the bones, joints, ligaments, and connective tissues of the body. Because we hold each pose for 3-5 minutes, and support our bodies with props, we are able to access deeper levels of restorative healing within the body tissues and energetic pathways. Yin is specifically beneficial to those need rest, recovery, restoration, or working with injuries, imbalances, or illnesses. It is a beautiful complement for those who engage regularly in more active forms of movement and exercise.

We will focus on foundational yin yoga sequences that can be done at home with or without specialized yoga props. I’ll show you how to use towels, blankets, pillows, and couch cushions if that’s what you have.

These classes are beginner friendly and also beneficial for the experienced yogi.

All participants will be required to fill out the class waiver prior to participating in live classes, or receiving class recordings. You can click the link above and the waiver will open in a new tab. Fill it out and submit it after completing your class registration here.

Please note: This series requires a minimum number of participants to run. If we do not meet the minimum, you will be notified of cancellation and receive a full refund. No refunds are available otherwise, as you will receive the recorded classes even if you cannot attend live.

Children 15 and older can attend with a legal guardian’s permission. Children younger than 15 can participant WITH AN ADULT.

If the summer session is successful, we will continue on with seasonal sessions this fall and over the winter.
