River Run Summer Camps- August

Welcome to August’s River Run Farm’s Summer Camps.

Camp Dates:

Week 1: August 11th through 14th (Tues- Fri), 9am to 1pm

Week 2: August 18th through 21st (Tues- Fri), 9am to 1pm

for ages 3 years to 10 years

Camp will meet at the Farmhouse (not the schoolhouse), and will take place outdoors with the exception of rain or extreme heat!

These camps will feature a fun array of farm inspired learning and play.

Tuesday: Plant Potions- identifying edible plants and making a wild lemonade

Wednesday: Horses- meeting, grooming, and riding the horses

Thursday: Garden Party- exploring the garden and doing a garden project

Friday: Nature Art- art projects with natural materials

(The activities and lessons will differ each week as well as differ from the May camp, though the themes will be the same)

The rhythm of each day will include circle times, stories, games, guided play, and free play!

Campers will need to bring lunch, snacks, water bottles, and weather appropriate clothing and gear like hats, sunscreen, bugspray, etc. A blanket or camp chair to sit on is optional.

You will be required to complete this waiver as part of the registration process. Clicking on it will open the waiver in a new tab. (If you participated in May’s camp, you will not need to fill out a new waiver.)

If registering multiple children, please add the camp to your cart in the quantity that matches the number of children.

A minimum number of 6 participants each week is needed to run this camp.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR BOTH CAMPS IS JULY 15TH. No refunds can be issued after the registration deadline. Refunds before the deadline will be in full MINUS processing fees already charged.
